Jacob Lindsay Workman – Sites from the 2007 reunion in St. George Utah.

Soon after moving to Virgin, Jacob moved Rebecca's family, from Fannie's place,to a farm a little further up the river. This farm kept washing out so he moved Rebecca and her family to Seven Mile Springs or Gould's Ranch. Following are several photos of the ranch as it exists today.

Reunion/Tour attendees – The camera is looking North toward Virgin city approx. 7 miles away. We are just inside the gate of the Diamond Ranch Academy on the right side of the road.
The Pine Valley Mountains are in the background. The photographer is shooting northwest toward the town of Washington.

Surrounding the farm on the South and West sides is a plateau covered with lava rock. Notice the water tank on the edge of the plateau.

Near the water tank, looking toward Virgin.

East from the tank.

On the South-West corner, of the farm, is a beautiful ravine. Also notice, in the upper left corner of the photo, the well known landmark known as "Mollie's nipple". The museum in Hurricane has a plaque that talks about it and it is visible from all over the valley providing a general reference for the location of the farm.
